Job Description

Overview

  • Lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring design excellence and alignment with client objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout all project phases.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve optimal outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee project documentation, including RFIs and submittals, to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Ensure deliverables align with client expectations and organizational objectives, driving project success.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and advancements to enhance project outcomes and innovation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for architectural projects.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Facilitate communication among clients, contractors, and team members to address challenges effectively.
  • Prepare and review RFIs, submittals, and other documentation to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain adherence to building codes and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering skill development.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to client needs and objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural project management; 7 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing mid to large-scale commercial architectural projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in handling RFIs and project documentation efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and leadership.
  • Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve goals.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools for design and project management.
