Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Overview

• Lead high-impact commercial construction projects in healthcare and K-12 sectors, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables effectively.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to optimize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align project objectives and execution strategies.
• Implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential project challenges effectively.
• Manage procurement processes, ensuring cost efficiency and high-quality materials selection.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality and progress benchmarks.
• Facilitate effective communication among project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Preferred 7 years of experience, including ground-up construction projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Experience in healthcare or K-12 construction projects is highly desirable.
