Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare, edit, and finalize prebills based on attorney instructions using advanced billing platforms.
- Generate and submit complex invoices, ensuring adherence to client-specific billing guidelines.
- Address electronic bill rejections and reductions promptly, ensuring resolution and compliance.
- Compile and submit necessary documentation for invoice processing and client submissions.
- Respond to billing inquiries, providing exceptional service and maintaining stakeholder satisfaction.
- Participate in special projects and generate detailed ad hoc financial reports as needed.
- Monitor billing operations, ensuring deadlines are met and processes are streamlined.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal billing or a similar role preferred.
- Proficiency in billing systems such as Aderant, Elite/3E, and E-billing Hub.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to manage priorities and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
