Overview

  • Provide expert contract drafting, negotiation, and management in a dynamic remote environment, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks effectively.
  • Support organizational goals by collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to streamline contract processes.
  • Enhance contract lifecycle management through innovative strategies and process improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Deliver training and guidance on contract policies and procedures to internal stakeholders for improved understanding and adherence.
  • Utilize advanced contract management systems to maintain accurate records and optimize operational workflows.
  • Contribute to policy development and system enhancements to support organizational contract management objectives.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to align contract strategies with organizational priorities and goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts, including Master Services Agreements and Supply Agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to facilitate contract approvals and feedback integration.
  • Monitor contractual deadlines and coordinate necessary actions with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Process contract requests independently or with legal counsel, providing informed recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Support contract execution processes and maintain accurate data within contract management systems.
  • Develop tools and strategies to enhance efficiency and client service within the legal and contracts team.
  • Provide training to internal clients on contract-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance and understanding.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, preferably in business or law.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and management; 7 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in contract management systems, such as Agiloft, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of contract language, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience in preparing redlines and negotiating terms in contracts is essential.
