Job Description

Overview

  • Manage and coordinate loan trade settlements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless execution of transactions.
  • Collaborate with agents, counterparties, and internal teams to achieve settlement objectives efficiently.
  • Prepare, review, and execute trade documents, including assignment agreements and funding memos.
  • Monitor cash flows, ensuring effective communication between trustees and treasury departments.
  • Support audits, bond settlements, and special projects to meet organizational goals.
  • Contribute to procedural updates and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Navigate complex corporate structures and coordinate tax form requests as required.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee settlement processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely fund disbursement.
  • Prepare and review legal documentation, including credit agreements and loan parameters.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate efficient settlement operations.
  • Support audits and contribute to departmental initiatives and projects.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through innovative solutions and industry expertise.
  • Administer portfolio tasks, ensuring compliance and accuracy in daily operations.
  • Monitor and coordinate cash flows between trustees and treasury teams effectively.
  • Maintain high standards while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in loan settlements; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in ClearPar and familiarity with LSTA trade documentation is advantageous.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of broadly syndicated loans and credit agreements is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address complex challenges.
  • Ability to excel in an on-site, collaborative work environment while managing priorities.
