Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assemble and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following industry standards and specifications.
- Fabricate and terminate cables, wiring harnesses, and connectors with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic systems and circuits.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly and testing.
- Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators effectively.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine and enhance electronic system designs and production processes.
- Document testing procedures, modifications, and repairs meticulously to maintain accurate production records.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards in all assembly and testing activities.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronics assembly, testing, or troubleshooting; 5 years preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership in tasks.
- Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Preferred certifications include IPC-A-620 and/or IPC-A-610.
