Job Description

Overview

  • Take charge of complex projects, ensuring adherence to constructability standards and delivering excellence in project execution.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine project documentation and enhance clarity and compliance.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Engage with stakeholders to address project challenges and implement innovative solutions.
  • Participate in site visits and meetings to gather insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project specifications and resource databases.
  • Coordinate with municipalities and subcontractors to resolve constructability conflicts effectively.
  • Contribute to the establishment and refinement of office standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the development and implementation of constructability standards for diverse projects.
  • Conduct thorough QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address documentation and bidding concerns.
  • Mentor and guide staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to resolve project conflicts and enhance coordination.
  • Attend site visits and meetings to implement lessons learned and drive project success.
  • Support the production of project specifications and contribute to office standards.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of material resource documents.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with 20 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in QA/QC reviews and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong collaboration skills with teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding staff to achieve professional growth.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining specification standards.
  • Ability to manage databases and resource documents effectively.
  • On-site work arrangement required for effective project coordination.
