Overview

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transform conceptual designs into actionable plans.
- Lead design-build integration, aligning designs with construction methodologies and project logistics.
- Act as the primary design authority during construction phases, ensuring adherence to approved documents.
- Support preconstruction activities, including proposal development and conceptual design refinement.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations while meeting project objectives.
- Monitor design progress to meet budget and schedule constraints, mitigating risks proactively.
- Maintain alignment between design intent, construction execution, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and oversee the design process for projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and integrated designs.
- Facilitate design workshops and stakeholder charrettes to refine project concepts.
- Monitor design progress, ensuring alignment with project budgets and schedules.
- Conduct design reviews, constructability analyses, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Support construction phase activities, resolving design-related issues and changes.
- Assist in commissioning, testing, and project closeout activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations throughout project phases.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related field.
- 7-10+ years of experience in design development and construction support.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM platforms and familiarity with design standards.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, systems, and construction methodologies.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams in Design-Build environments.
- Preferred certifications: Licensed Architect (RA), Professional Engineer (PE), DBIA certification.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence decision-making across multidisciplinary teams effectively.
