Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Evaluate and develop staff performance, ensuring adherence to professional practice standards and fostering growth.
- Monitor and coach staff, serving as a role model in communication and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the CNS/Educator to meet educational needs and maintain continuity of care.
- Manage resource allocation, ensuring provider competency aligns with patient care requirements.
- Facilitate processes to improve patient throughput and organizational efficiency effectively.
- Address operational, budgetary, patient, and personnel issues in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care protocols and guidelines for optimal outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care, demonstrating clinical expertise and leadership in radiology nursing practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for consideration.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) mandatory for the role.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in radiology or related areas required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross required.
- Preferred 5 years of experience and previous Charge RN experience highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills essential for success.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Relevant certifications as determined by position level preferred for advanced roles.
