Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee multiple client service teams, ensuring successful execution of tax strategies and compliance projects.
- Conduct in-depth research on Sub-chapter K partnership taxation and provide expert consultation.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support organizational growth and service excellence.
- Train and mentor staff, fostering professional development and assessing performance for reviews.
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
- Utilize advanced tax software for return preparation and research on complex tax matters.
- Lead business development initiatives, including client identification and proposal preparation.
- Manage competing priorities in a dynamic, results-oriented team environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification required.
- Minimum ten years of progressive experience in tax compliance and consulting.
- Proficiency in US GAAP, partnership returns, and Sub-chapter K partnership taxation.
- Experience with partnership structuring, entity formation, and mergers & acquisitions preferred.
- Exceptional client service and communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and business development capabilities.
- Experience in public accounting, preferably with Big 4 or top-tier firms.
- Familiarity with industries such as retail, hospitality, technology, and financial services.
