Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and review corporate, partnership, trust, and individual income tax returns with accuracy.
- Conduct in-depth research to address complex client tax issues and inquiries.
- Plan and oversee tax engagements, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Collaborate with domestic and international firms on tax-related matters.
- Provide audit support and respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies.
- Utilize tax preparation software to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
- Mentor and guide tax staff professionals and interns to develop their expertise.
- Engage in marketing activities to promote firm services and client satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, preferably in a dynamic environment.
- CPA license required; familiarity with Axcess and XCM software preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle concurrent engagements.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Problem-solving abilities to develop solutions using research and reasoning.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations as required.
