Overview

  • Lead perioperative services to ensure exceptional patient care and operational efficiency in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Oversee surgical services, including staffing, budgeting, and strategic planning to achieve organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across clinical practices.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Enhance the patient experience through evidence-based initiatives and strategic improvements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Develop policies and procedures to optimize patient throughput and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and implement strategies to address variances and achieve savings.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction through strategic planning and execution.
  • Provide coaching and training to improve employee performance and engagement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in surgical services; 5 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing perioperative services and achieving operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory standards in healthcare operations.
  • Experience in budget management, forecasting, and cost reduction strategies.
  • Ability to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and enhance patient experience.
  • Effective leadership skills to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
