Job Description

Overview

  • Lead fund accounting operations for a dynamic finance team in a hybrid work environment.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and review of financial statements and capital calculations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to streamline processes and reporting standards.
  • Support audits, investor inquiries, and ad hoc analyses with precision and expertise.
  • Utilize advanced financial systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced environment emphasizing collaboration, integrity, and innovation.
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills for complex financial modeling and reporting tasks.
  • Participate in the development of supplemental management and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage capital contribution and distribution calculations with precision and timeliness.
  • Coordinate audits and provide detailed support schedules for auditors.
  • Address investor inquiries and internal requests with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables with high accuracy and reliability.
  • Enhance knowledge of financial systems and reporting platforms for operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support for client-specific financial projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in private equity or partnership accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Experience with Investran Live or similar platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
