Overview

  • Serve as a central figure for financial oversight and strategic reporting across regional and subsidiary budgets.
  • Focus on aligning budgets with corporate targets to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with budget controllers to optimize corporate profitability and minimize unnecessary expenses.
  • Prepare detailed budget analysis reports for senior management with actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize advanced financial systems for reporting and reconciliation, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Maintain communication with divisional budget controllers to enhance budget control measures.
  • Research and evaluate processes and methodologies to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with a structured schedule balancing office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Control, analyze, and report the Canon Americas budget across divisions and subsidiaries.
  • Collaborate with budget controllers to meet corporate financial targets effectively.
  • Maximize profitability and minimize expenses through strategic budget cycles.
  • Prepare and present budget analysis reports comparing actuals with projections.
  • Generate monthly reports including sales results, P&L, and inventory data.
  • Review business statuses and recommend strategies for expense control.
  • Coordinate budgeting systems and act as a liaison across departments.
  • Evaluate and improve processes, systems, and methodologies for operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or budgeting.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and computerized financial systems like Oracle Finance and Hyperion.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to analyze and report financial data effectively for strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in budget reporting, reconciliation, and financial oversight.
  • Capability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve financial goals.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and tools for accurate reporting and analysis.
