Job Description

Overview

  • Lead core accounting operations, partnering with leadership on financial reporting and strategic initiatives.
  • Blend hands-on execution with exposure to leadership in a dynamic environment.
  • Support month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate payroll, commissions, and billing processes to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
  • Enhance operational reporting and implement system improvements.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance.
  • Act as a key finance resource, supporting special projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee month-end and year-end closings, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process monthly sales and recruiter commissions accurately.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing operations.
  • Monitor and reconcile cash transactions and bank activity.
  • Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Contribute to system enhancements and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic financial initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Great Plains, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in staffing, consulting, or professional services is advantageous.
  • Ability to streamline processes and leverage automation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
