Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance maternal child health services.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with physicians and other departments to address patient and family needs.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Lead initiatives for staff training, development, and performance improvement.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in hospital-wide committees and initiatives to advance healthcare services.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred.
- Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent management experience in a large hospital.
- Preferred 5 years of experience in women’s services in high-acuity settings.
- Experience managing departments with over 3500 births annually.
- Certification in a relevant specialty is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to maintain BCLS certification as required.
