Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations for investment partnerships, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering precise reporting.
  • Collaborate with controllers and teams to optimize financial processes and cash operations.
  • Analyze complex transactions and valuations, ensuring accurate accounting practices.
  • Prepare detailed financial statements, capital calls, and distribution notices with comprehensive notes.
  • Provide expert advice on accounting principles and partnership agreement adherence.
  • Utilize advanced financial systems for efficient management and reporting.
  • Deliver high-quality client services, presenting investment performance effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records for partnerships.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, ensuring precision in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Prepare and review capital calls and distribution notices, ensuring compliance.
  • Advise clients on current accounting principles and standards application.
  • Review and approve outputs from cash operations and financial reporting teams.
  • Analyze investment performance and present findings to clients clearly.
  • Ensure compliance with tax filings, management reports, and regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years in fund accounting; 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, investment analysis, and accounting principles.
  • Strong understanding of partnership agreements and financial implications.
  • Experience with advanced financial systems for reporting and analysis.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills for relationship building.
