Overview
- Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic, neurologic, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Deliver individualized treatment plans focused on restoring function, improving strength, and enhancing independence.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers throughout the therapy process to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient goals and optimize outcomes.
- Participate in program development, clinical education, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform evaluations and develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans for patients.
- Establish functional baselines and track patient progress throughout therapy sessions.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, students, and rehab support staff as applicable.
- Provide treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to established plans.
- Support patient participation in individual and group therapy activities to enhance recovery.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with timelines and standards.
- Communicate barriers to timely documentation and collaborate to resolve issues.
- Participate in clinical education and serve as a resource within areas of expertise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Active Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Michigan.
- BLS certification required within three months of hire.
- Minimum of one year of experience, with three years preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and basic computer applications.
