Job Description

Overview

  • Lead project management activities for large-scale commercial and government construction projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Collaborate with field teams and stakeholders to maintain project schedules and resolve logistical challenges effectively.
  • Provide financial oversight and contractual management to support project objectives and organizational goals.
  • Work closely with architects and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • Contribute to the client’s portfolio of education, first responder, and city/government projects.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to manage repeat customer relationships and secure new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage contracts and provide logistical support to field teams for seamless project execution.
  • Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents to align schedules and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Facilitate communication between architects, subcontractors, and stakeholders to address project needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout project lifecycles.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of negotiated and repeat customer projects.
  • Support self-perform divisions in concrete and carpentry tasks as required.
  • Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction or related industries.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience in managing large-scale commercial or government projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, financial oversight, and logistical coordination.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools and stakeholder communication strategies.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in construction projects.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate with field teams effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to manage customer relationships and secure new opportunities.
