Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in managing ground-up light industrial construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers to oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution phases.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline project workflows.
  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout project phases.
  • Support the development of project documentation, including reports and progress updates.
  • Participate in client meetings to provide updates and address project-related concerns.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and review of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations on-site.
  • Support the resolution of project challenges and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the project team to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, reports, and schedules.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
  • Experience with ground-up light industrial construction projects is highly desirable.
