Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage comprehensive accounting oversight for private credit funds and related entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex financial transactions, valuations, and reporting standards within the private credit sector.
  • Coordinate with third-party fund administrators to ensure operational excellence and adherence to regulations.
  • Develop and implement tailored accounting policies to meet the unique needs of private credit operations.
  • Lead financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support internal audit initiatives and manage relationships with external auditors effectively.
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, and operations teams to drive strategic initiatives and maintain compliance standards.
  • Oversee performance calculations and investor reporting to inform strategic decision-making processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required; CPA certification mandatory for this leadership role.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive accounting experience; expertise in private credit operations preferred.
  • Proven leadership in managing internal teams and external administrators effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of fund structures, investment accounting, and valuation methodologies.
  • Experience managing multi-location teams and willingness to travel quarterly as required.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to influence decisions and drive initiatives.
  • Expertise in liquidity management frameworks and fund-level financing strategies.
