Job Description

Overview

  • Provide temporary IT support to ensure smooth operations during IT Manager's leave.
  • Coordinate daily IT department activities and maintain operational continuity.
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including email setup and workstation configuration.
  • Support a small, collaborative IT team with guidance from existing staff.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Respond to internal IT help desk requests and provide excellent customer service.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and recommend replacements when necessary.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with on-site presence 2–3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate IT department scheduling and support functions effectively.
  • Set up and configure email accounts, laptops, and workstations for new hires.
  • Install and verify department-specific applications and software.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal IT help desk requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues remotely when possible.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and determine replacement needs.
  • Collaborate with existing IT staff for guidance on internal processes.
  • Provide responsive and customer-focused IT support to employees.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support roles, preferably 3 years.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft technologies and environments.
  • Proficiency in general IT support and help desk troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment with on-site presence as needed.
  • Education level: Other; entry-level experience welcomed.
  • Availability to start promptly following interview and background check.
