Job Description

Overview

  • Support Open Enrollment processes and HR operations in a contract Benefits Manager role.
  • Coordinate benefits administration tasks, including employee record maintenance and reporting.
  • Provide liaison support between employees, HR, and benefits brokers.
  • Develop and manage project plans for Open Enrollment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with benefits administration processes and timelines.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and documentation.
  • Contribute to HR operational initiatives during peak periods.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with benefits brokers and vendors to optimize systems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Open Enrollment processes and activities.
  • Review and update employee benefits materials and communications.
  • Organize Benefits Fair activities and employee information sessions.
  • Generate and analyze enrollment data reports to ensure objectives are met.
  • Administer Employee Navigator platform, including record maintenance and reporting.
  • Provide support for employee benefit-related inquiries during enrollment periods.
  • Collaborate with benefits brokers to validate system functionality and processes.
  • Assist with HR communications and documentation during peak periods.
  • Support HR operational initiatives and projects as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration or HR consulting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Employee Navigator or similar benefits platforms preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and employee service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with benefits brokers and vendors preferred.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, and voluntary benefits.
