Overview
- Serve as a pivotal contributor to fund accounting operations within a leading asset management firm.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of accounting and tax professionals in a dynamic environment.
- Lead impactful projects aimed at enhancing and modernizing accounting processes and systems.
- Prepare and review fund and legal entity financial statements and disclosures.
- Calculate investor allocations, distributions, and fund performance metrics as per agreements.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with operations, legal, and investor relations teams.
- Contribute to defining industry benchmarks for fund accounting best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and audit fund and legal entity financial statements and related disclosures.
- Calculate investor profit and loss allocations, distributions, and capital calls.
- Review portfolio transactions for accuracy, including expenses and reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing investor statements and special client reporting.
- Research and support requests from investors, auditors, and internal teams.
- Review quarterly valuation models for private equity and debt investments.
- Contribute to the modernization of accounting processes and platforms.
- Collaborate with administrators and investor relations for seamless operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in hedge or private equity funds.
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong understanding of complex accounting rules and industry practices.
- Exceptional math and Microsoft Excel skills for detailed financial analysis.
- Knowledge of Advent Geneva software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and proven project management abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of collaborating in a global cross-team environment.
