Overview

• Lead the management of financial reporting and accounting systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system functionalities with strategic business objectives.

• Identify and implement automation opportunities to optimize financial operations and reporting accuracy.
• Oversee system upgrades, testing, and integration to ensure seamless functionality enhancements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports for strategic decision-making and presentations.
• Ensure governance over financial formats, chart of accounts, and reporting structures.
• Support organizational goals by delivering accurate and timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, test, and validate accounting reports to meet diverse organizational needs.
• Develop ad hoc queries and analyses to support management decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.
• Maintain governance over financial reporting structures, formats, and standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Partner with technology teams to prioritize and execute system-driven enhancements.
• Document business requirements and oversee system testing and upgrades.
• Proactively identify automation opportunities to improve controllership and reporting accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field required.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred, showcasing advanced expertise in financial management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience required; 8 years preferred for advanced roles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and database management, including SQL.
• Experience with MRI software is a plus, enhancing technical capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in financial reporting and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access for data management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
