Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee comprehensive fund administration engagements, including reporting, compliance, and cash management for private equity funds.
  • Train and mentor team members, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to client expectations.
  • Coordinate fund activities such as fee calculations, investor funding, and carried interest computations.
  • Ensure compliance with fund policies and procedures, collaborating with legal and compliance teams effectively.
  • Respond to investor inquiries promptly, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and trust.
  • Manage audit processes, liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement initiatives to improve fund accounting functions, driving operational efficiency and innovation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in private equity fund accounting; 9+ years preferred.
  • Proficiency in fund accounting software such as Allvue, Investran, or E-Front.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Experience interpreting Limited Partnership Agreements for private equity funds.
