Job Description

Overview

  • Play a vital role in the production of high-quality electronic assemblies for a leading manufacturing company.
  • Engage in hands-on assembly tasks, including soldering, wiring, and testing of electronic components.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine prototypes and improve production workflows.
  • Utilize advanced testing equipment to troubleshoot and debug electronic assemblies effectively.
  • Interpret schematics and engineering drawings to ensure precise and efficient assembly processes.
  • Document procedures, modifications, and repairs to maintain comprehensive production records.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures and production documentation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assemble and solder electronic components onto PCBs with precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Fabricate and route wiring harnesses and connectors for electronic systems.
  • Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic assemblies.
  • Interpret and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings accurately.
  • Operate and maintain electronic testing equipment, including oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Collaborate with engineers to refine prototypes and optimize production processes.
  • Document testing procedures, modifications, and repairs thoroughly.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards in all assembly and testing activities.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in electronics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics assembly and testing.
  • Proficiency in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in using electronic testing equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-A-620 certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborative teamwork and reporting.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in all tasks.
