Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assemble and solder electronic components onto PCBs with precision and adherence to specifications.
- Fabricate and route wiring harnesses and connectors for electronic systems.
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic assemblies.
- Interpret and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings accurately.
- Operate and maintain electronic testing equipment, including oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Collaborate with engineers to refine prototypes and optimize production processes.
- Document testing procedures, modifications, and repairs thoroughly.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in all assembly and testing activities.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in electronics or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics assembly and testing.
- Proficiency in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Skilled in using electronic testing equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-A-620 certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborative teamwork and reporting.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in all tasks.
