Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee corporate and project accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, supporting strategic decisions.
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align financial strategies with project objectives and timelines.
  • Train and mentor accounting staff, building a high-performing and cohesive team.
  • Monitor budgets and forecast financial performance to support organizational initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and reporting activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing and mentoring accounting teams effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and auditing practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in an on-site environment.
  • Preferred: CPA certification and experience in project accounting are advantageous.
