Overview
- Lead clinical supervision for a team of skilled clinicians, ensuring high-quality mental health services and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement innovative therapeutic programs, including counseling, group sessions, and crisis intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance service delivery and address diverse client needs effectively.
- Provide training on clinical protocols and evidence-based practices to ensure professional growth and service excellence.
- Oversee clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance program outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate psychiatric assessments and crisis interventions to support client stability and well-being.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and corporate guidelines while managing sensitive patient information.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise clinicians and interns, providing guidance and fostering professional development through regular feedback and support.
- Manage a caseload of clients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care and address complex client needs.
- Monitor clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely service authorization.
- Provide leadership during evening and weekend hours to support program operations and client care.
- Deliver training sessions on evidence-based practices and clinical documentation standards to enhance team capabilities.
- Participate in advocacy and quality assurance initiatives to improve program effectiveness and community impact.
- Track admissions, discharges, and treatment plans to optimize service delivery and resource allocation.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work with active LCSW/LCSW-R certification required.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a healthcare or mental health setting.
- Proficiency in Spanish and familiarity with OMH/Article 31 regulatory standards preferred.
- Experience with evidence-based interventions and outpatient mental health services.
- Strong organizational, communication, and public speaking skills essential for success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and EMR systems required.
- SIFI certification strongly preferred for supervising social work interns.
- Availability for evening and weekend hours to meet program needs.
