Overview

  • Assist in managing carpentry operations for construction projects, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Support the Superintendent in overseeing ground-up construction projects with a focus on carpentry tasks.
  • Collaborate with trades and subcontractors to maintain project efficiency and standards.
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to carpentry teams during project execution.
  • Assist in resolving on-site challenges and maintaining smooth project progress.
  • Participate in progress meetings and contribute to project reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise carpentry tasks to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and trades to optimize workflow and resource usage.
  • Monitor project schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations on construction sites.
  • Provide leadership and technical support to carpentry teams during project execution.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or construction supervision; 5 years preferred.
  • Ground-up construction experience is highly desirable for this role.
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent educational background required.
  • Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in construction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
