  • Lead strategic revenue cycle operations for a healthcare organization, ensuring financial optimization and operational excellence across multiple facilities.
  • Collaborate with executive teams to align revenue cycle strategies with organizational goals and enhance system-wide efficiency.
  • Analyze financial metrics, providing actionable insights to improve revenue cycle performance and streamline processes.
  • Oversee centralized and regional revenue cycle operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies.
  • Implement advanced technology solutions to optimize revenue cycle workflows and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop partnerships with vendors and offshore resources to achieve cost-effective operations and financial success.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and operational strategies within the organization.
  • Travel as required to oversee system-wide initiatives and foster collaboration among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue cycle strategies to optimize financial performance across multiple healthcare facilities.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue cycle metrics, identifying trends and implementing improvement initiatives.
  • Lead teams in centralized business offices and oversee offshore operations to ensure effective management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operational goals with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and reimbursement programs, maintaining high standards of operational integrity.
  • Implement and manage advanced healthcare technology solutions to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports and actionable insights to senior leadership on financial performance and operational trends.
  • Foster relationships with financial leaders and executive management to drive organizational success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of ten years of hospital revenue cycle management experience within a multi-state health system.
  • Seven years of system-level leadership experience in revenue cycle operations.
  • Proficiency in EPIC, Meditech, and Change Healthcare products is essential.
  • Master’s Degree and CPA certification are preferred qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to travel as required to oversee system-wide initiatives.
  • Proven success in leading revenue cycle operations for large healthcare organizations.
