Job Description

Overview

  • Lead high-impact architectural projects, ensuring excellence in execution and adherence to constructability standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine project documentation and optimize clarity and compliance.
  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Engage with stakeholders to address challenges and implement innovative solutions for project success.
  • Conduct site visits and meetings to gather insights and drive continuous improvement in processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project specifications and resource documentation databases.
  • Coordinate with municipalities and subcontractors to resolve constructability conflicts effectively.
  • Contribute to the establishment and refinement of organizational standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee the development and implementation of constructability standards for diverse architectural projects.
  • Conduct thorough QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with established standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address documentation and bidding concerns effectively.
  • Mentor and guide staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to resolve project conflicts and enhance coordination efforts.
  • Attend site visits and meetings to implement lessons learned and drive project success.
  • Support the production of project specifications and contribute to organizational standards.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of material resource documents for project use.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with 20 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in QA/QC reviews and compliance monitoring within architectural projects.
  • Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding staff to achieve professional growth and excellence.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining specification standards and resource documentation.
  • Ability to manage databases and material resource documents effectively.
  • On-site work arrangement required for effective project coordination and execution.
