Job Description

Overview

  • Lead on-site construction operations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards for diverse commercial projects.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain project alignment and resolve challenges effectively.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and fostering a secure work environment.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress to achieve objectives and maintain efficiency.
  • Provide leadership to on-site teams, promoting collaboration and optimal performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and updates for management, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Address and resolve on-site challenges promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.
  • Promote quality control measures to uphold construction standards and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure seamless execution and alignment with design specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress and addressing deviations proactively.
  • Train and oversee on-site personnel, fostering skill development and productivity.
  • Facilitate client interactions, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all project activities and milestones.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; certifications in construction management preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction supervision experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools, with strong technical aptitude.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and efficient resource allocation.
