Landscape Architect

Overview

• Lead the creation and execution of innovative landscape designs that harmonize aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead landscape architecture projects from concept development through construction, ensuring design excellence and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with architectural and interior teams to align landscape designs with overall project objectives.
• Develop detailed hardscape systems, including paving, walls, and water features, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Select and document site furnishings, ensuring consistency with design standards and project requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, presenting design progress and addressing feedback effectively.
• Ensure design intent is preserved throughout all project phases, from concept to construction completion.
• Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and conduct site visits during construction administration phases.
• Collaborate with municipal agencies and external consultants to navigate approval processes successfully.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture Technology or equivalent degree required.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture; 10 years preferred.
• Registered Landscape Architect or willingness to obtain licensure in applicable jurisdiction.
• Proven expertise in project management, team coordination, and client engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead design efforts across all project phases effectively.
• Experience with municipal agencies and navigating approval processes successfully.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external consultants.
• Portfolio showcasing built work and design capabilities aligned with contemporary architectural standards.
