Overview

  • Drive construction project management for energy-efficient and sustainable initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to modernize facilities and enhance operational efficiency through innovative solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and subcontractor agreements to achieve successful outcomes and exceed client expectations.
  • Oversee risk management, technical due diligence, and performance guarantees throughout all project phases.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols across all construction activities and project sites.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and verification plans for energy conservation measures to ensure long-term impact.
  • Provide leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and driving project success through effective communication.
  • Contribute to client relationship management and business development efforts to support organizational growth and market presence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead project teams, including Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Manage client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes and deliverables.
  • Prepare detailed project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor agreements to maintain efficiency and control.
  • Implement safety programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and ensure project success.
  • Coordinate commissioning protocols and post-project maintenance plans to ensure operational success and sustainability.
  • Monitor project progress and provide comprehensive updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities and contributing to strategic planning efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience; 10 years preferred for senior-level expertise.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera essential.
  • Strong knowledge of energy systems, HVAC, and sustainability practices highly desirable.
  • Experience in implementing safety and quality control standards across diverse projects.
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred but not mandatory for consideration.
  • Ability to travel extensively or relocate as project needs dictate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
