Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead tax compliance efforts, including preparation, review, and timely filing of returns.
  • Analyze tax laws to ensure adherence and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms to streamline processes and resolve issues.
  • Develop strategic tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and real estate investments.
  • Monitor legislative changes and advise leadership on potential impacts.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on tax-related matters for stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax management; 10 years preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of high-net-worth tax strategies and compliance.
  • Experience with real estate tax matters and investment strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with external accounting firms effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with leadership.
  • Familiarity with family office operations and philanthropic tax strategies is advantageous.
