Project Architect

Overview

• Lead architectural design and innovation for impactful projects in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration of design intent throughout all project phases.
• Oversee technical development and production of high-quality construction documents.
• Engage with clients through presentations and meetings to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Manage project schedules and budgets, optimizing workflows for timely delivery.
• Mentor junior staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration within the studio.
• Participate in construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards, maintaining quality and safety throughout projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective integration of structural, MEP, and specialty disciplines.
• Develop and oversee construction documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with building codes.
• Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of milestones.
• Facilitate client meetings and presentations to align with project goals and expectations.
• Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and contribute to construction administration efforts.
• Mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative studio culture.
• Ensure technical execution aligns with project goals and design intent.
• Drive innovation in architectural production processes, enhancing efficiency and quality.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience, showcasing technical and design expertise.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
• Comprehensive understanding of building codes, construction systems, and detailing is required.
• Proven experience in coordinating multidisciplinary project teams effectively.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work arrangement, balancing onsite and remote responsibilities.
