Job Description

Overview

  • Support a dynamic CLO operations team in managing trade processing, data reporting, and compliance documentation within a fast-paced financial environment.
  • Ensure accurate data reporting to portfolio managers, investors, and stakeholders, contributing to operational excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Manage corporate actions and oversee trade entries in portfolio management systems, ensuring precision and compliance.
  • Coordinate with custodians and brokers to streamline trading activities and maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Handle CLO warehouse fund finance operations, including cash management and fund documentation processes.
  • Assist with audit queries and regulatory reporting, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all submissions.
  • Engage in special projects to enhance operational efficiency and build relationships with service providers and administrators.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and detail-oriented environment focused on delivering exceptional financial services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee corporate actions and ensure accurate data maintenance in portfolio systems.
  • Manage trade processing workflows, including settlement activities for syndicated bank loans.
  • Coordinate with custodians and brokers to ensure compliance in trading documentation.
  • Supervise CLO warehouse fund finance operations, ensuring efficient cash management.
  • Prepare and review loan closing packages and credit agreement documentation.
  • Assist in audit processes, including internal, external, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Resolve booking and position discrepancies through collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects to enhance operational processes and build industry relationships.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in alternative asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income products, bank loans, and CLO operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and portfolio management systems is essential.
  • Experience with loan closing documentation and settlement processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with systems like IVP, VPM, and Bloomberg is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for success.
