Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, ensuring comprehensive care delivery.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decision-making and patient care plans.
• Develop advanced care plans tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.
• Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery.

Job Requirements

• Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree is required for this position.
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice is mandatory.
• Board Certification and DEA licensure are essential for prescribing medications.
• Experience in adult, family, or geriatric specialties is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is required.
• Ability to manage patients with advanced illnesses and multiple chronic conditions effectively.
• Experience in long-term care settings is considered a significant advantage.
• Psychiatric experience is desirable and will be considered a plus.
