Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and process client invoices, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and accuracy.
  • Assist in tracking attorney time entries and resolving billing discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with controllers to manage account statuses and follow up on collections.
  • Maintain organized billing records and support financial audits as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to enhance office operations and efficiency.
  • Utilize legal billing systems to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
  • Address billing-related inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or administrative roles.
  • Preferred experience in a law firm setting and familiarity with LEDES billing standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with attorneys and staff.
  • Experience with legal billing systems or case management platforms is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with initial onsite requirements.
