Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead structural engineering efforts on major projects, ensuring adherence to design standards and project specifications.
  • Perform structural analysis and design for various materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, and cold-formed metal framing.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Review shop drawings and provide technical guidance during construction phases for quality assurance.
  • Utilize software tools such as Revit, Ram Structures, and TEDDS to produce accurate designs.
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored engineering solutions.
  • Manage priorities and resources effectively to ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and organizational standards.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structural design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or eligibility for licensure is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering; 12 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in structural design and analysis software, including Ram Structures and TEDDS.
  • Experience working with various materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and cold-formed metal framing.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit and other design tools for effective project execution.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
