Overview

  • Conduct in-depth tax research to address complex client needs and regulatory inquiries.

  • Support audits and regulatory reviews, ensuring compliance and effective resolution of inquiries.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review diverse tax returns, including corporate, partnership, trust, and individual filings.
  • Conduct detailed research to resolve complex tax issues and provide actionable insights.
  • Plan and oversee tax engagements, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Collaborate with international firms on cross-border tax matters and compliance.
  • Provide audit support, addressing inquiries from regulatory agencies effectively.
  • Utilize tax software to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop tax staff, promoting professional growth and expertise.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to expand client engagement and firm visibility.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional tax experience in a dynamic setting.
  • CPA certification required; familiarity with Axcess and XCM software preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle concurrent projects.
  • Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Analytical mindset to develop solutions through research and strategic reasoning.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for client engagements and meetings.
