Job Description

Overview

  • Act as the primary contact for patients, ensuring seamless intake and coordination processes.
  • Leverage bilingual Spanish and English skills to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Support operational workflows by managing patient intake processes with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and billing teams to optimize patient care delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Contribute to organizational success by tracking and reporting intake metrics accurately.
  • Provide administrative support to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage the complete intake process for new patients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information promptly and accurately.
  • Receive and process referrals from healthcare providers and community sources efficiently.
  • Conduct intake interviews and gather necessary documentation to facilitate patient care.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and coverage to ensure smooth care delivery.
  • Follow up on incomplete referrals and pending documents proactively to avoid delays.
  • Track and report intake metrics, including conversion rates and referral sources.
  • Handle high call volumes professionally, resolving issues and providing excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree or equivalent educational background is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct intake experience, with 3 years preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written, is essential.
  • Experience with HHA Exchange and familiarity with ePaces or Zoho systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid processes is advantageous for this role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office systems is required.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail are critical for success.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
