Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide leadership for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize imaging systems and workflows.
- Strengthen collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
- Address staffing challenges and foster team engagement within radiology services.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance in imaging practices.
- Monitor and improve throughput and turnaround times for imaging services.
- Lead initiatives to stabilize and elevate imaging and oncology service lines.
- Partner with organizational leadership to align service objectives and strategies for success.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Science (AS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in acute care imaging leadership.
- Preferred 6 years of experience in Level I/II Trauma or academic centers.
- Proven operational leadership across multiple imaging modalities.
- Expertise in PACS/RIS systems and oncology workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and organizational leadership.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance within imaging services.
- Demonstrated ability to stabilize and enhance imaging service lines in high-acuity environments.
