Overview
- Lead operations of a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center with advanced equipment and diverse surgical specialties.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and governing boards to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
- Drive compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, supporting clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and address operational risks effectively.
- Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and employee performance management to maintain a motivated team.
- Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination for seamless operations.
- Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement to enhance center performance.
- Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting to ensure sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead daily administrative, clinical support, and business functions of the surgery center.
- Serve as liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and corporate office.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
- Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets effectively.
- Monitor financial performance and address operational risks proactively.
- Oversee staffing, employee performance management, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination.
- Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts to ensure operational efficiency.
- Drive quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical or ambulatory surgery center leadership.
- Preferred 5 years of experience in healthcare executive roles with ASC exposure.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards in healthcare.
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
- Experience in workforce planning, employee performance management, and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with physicians and staff.
- Growth-oriented mindset with a focus on operational improvement and service line development.
- On-site work arrangement required for hands-on operational leadership.
