Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review and manage capital calls, distributions, and financial statements prepared by fund administrators.
- Monitor fund cash activities, including credit facilities and wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support limited partner requests and deliver comprehensive investor reporting with attention to detail.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory reporting processes, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Develop documentation, procedures, and best practices to enhance fund operations and efficiency.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives to improve operational workflows and outcomes.
- Collaborate with investment professionals and senior leadership to support financial strategies and decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in private equity or private markets fund accounting.
- Proficiency in closed-end fund structures, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and reporting.
- Experience with fund administrators, asset managers, or Big Four firms preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under deadlines.
