Overview

  • Lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to align objectives and maintain seamless communication.
  • Oversee on-site operations, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Monitor resources, equipment, and materials to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure safety and quality compliance throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily on-site operations, coordinating with subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
  • Interpret construction plans and specifications for accurate implementation and compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all stages of the project.
  • Track project progress, addressing delays or issues promptly to maintain timelines.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; certifications in construction management are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Experience with resource allocation, scheduling, and project management tools.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic construction environments.
