Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate Political Action Committee (PAC) and grassroots advocacy initiatives to drive impactful public policy engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance PAC operations and fundraising strategies effectively.
  • Plan and execute advocacy events, including summits, to support PAC objectives.
  • Develop communication materials to promote PAC activities and increase member engagement.
  • Foster advocacy involvement among professionals through targeted outreach and support.
  • Ensure compliance with PAC regulations and maintain accurate records and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to elevate awareness and participation in PAC initiatives.
  • Contribute to systematic planning and improvement of advocacy programs and events.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Implement fundraising strategies to achieve sustained growth for PAC initiatives.
  • Coordinate PAC events, including pre-summit and concurrent summit activities.
  • Create communication materials, such as newsletters and reports, to articulate PAC goals.
  • Collaborate with finance and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Maintain PAC website and improve digital engagement strategies effectively.
  • Support grassroots advocacy programs to increase member participation and mobilization.
  • Provide logistical support for advocacy events and coordinate with internal departments.
  • Develop presentations and assets for in-person or virtual advocacy meetings.
  • Establish relationships with stakeholders to enhance advocacy and PAC initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, social science, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in government relations or PAC management.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of PAC compliance rules and legislative processes preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with membership databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in fundraising and stewardship programs advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel for events and meetings as required.
