Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to align project goals and expectations effectively.
  • Develop and implement detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental requirements throughout project execution.
  • Oversee self-performed tasks such as carpentry, painting, and concrete work, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and proactively address challenges.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for project milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to refine workflows and enhance overall project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan and execute construction projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and specifications.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve optimal performance and cost control.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Lead project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Supervise self-performed tasks, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality expectations.
  • Resolve project-related issues and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Prepare and present detailed project documentation, including compliance records and performance reports.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management; 12 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing commercial interiors and underground utilities projects.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling and budgeting.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to oversee self-performed tasks and ensure quality control throughout project phases.
  • Willingness to work on-site and conduct regular site visits as required.
