Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate pricing, staffing, and workflow planning for tax engagements to optimize efficiency.
- Oversee tax compliance services, including individual, trust, estate, and business tax returns.
- Conduct advanced tax research and provide authoritative guidance on complex issues.
- Develop and implement advanced tax and estate planning strategies for diverse client needs.
- Lead internal training sessions to enhance the technical skills of tax managers and staff.
- Participate in business development efforts, including client prospect meetings and presentations.
- Support advisory teams with technical tax discussions and strategic planning initiatives.
- Drive firmwide standardization efforts as part of the tax leadership team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA certification mandatory.
- 15+ years of progressive tax experience, including leadership roles.
- Extensive expertise in trust and estate taxation, UHNW individual taxation, and partnership taxation.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop tax professionals effectively.
- Strong technical skills in multigenerational estate planning and charitable giving strategies.
- Experience with complex entity structures and UHNW families.
- Ability to work onsite four days per week in a hybrid environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to employment agreements.
